Lors de sa visite au Japon en 1908, le banquier et philanthrope A.Kahn fut fasciné par la culture traditionnelle du pays. Au retour en France, il a aménagé un jardin japonais dans sa résidence. Des charpentiers et des jardiniers japonais s’étaient déplacés à l’époque pour construire les pavillons et suivre les travaux paysagers.
Pendant la restauration des deux pavillons, en 2016, nous avons supervisé les travaux, traduit et coordonné les réunions hebdomadaires avec l’architecte local, les charpentiers japonais et français (chargés de démontage et montage de la structure), les entreprises de construction (chargée des fondations et des aménagements extérieurs) ainsi que l’équipe de chercheur sur l’histoire de l’art et archéologie de l’université de la Sorbonne.
Nous avons également contribué au transport de matériaux, de la peinture spéciale et d’outils en provenance du Japon.

During his visit to Japan in 1908, the banker and philanthropist A.Kahn was fascinated by the traditional culture of the country. On his return to France, he set up a Japanese garden in his residence. Japanese carpenters and gardeners were brought in at the time to build the pavilions and to supervise the landscaping work.
During the restoration of the two pavilions in 2016, we supervised the work, translated and coordinated weekly meetings with the local architect, the Japanese and French carpenters (in charge of dismantling and assembling the structure), the construction companies (in charge of the foundations and the exterior fittings), as well as the research team on art history and archaeology of the Sorbonne University.
We also contributed to the transport of materials, special paint and tools from Japan.

パリ西郊に位置するアルベールカーン庭園内の２つの日本家屋の改築工事の施工監理に携わりました。
日本から数寄屋大工が派遣され、現地の元受会社と協業の元行われた、オードセーヌ県管轄の公共工事。週に一度、ローカルアーキテクト・数寄屋大工・地元の大工（構造体の解体及び組み立て）・地元の施工会社（土台及び外構担当）・ソルボンヌ大学の日本家屋研究チームとの打ち合わせには通訳として参加しました。
1908年の来日で、日本の伝統的な文化に魅せられた銀行家兼慈善家カーンが、邸宅に日本庭園の建設を開始。
私財を投じ、わざわざ日本から大工・庭師をフランスに呼び寄せ、茶室と日本家屋を移築したそうです。
日本からの資材、特殊塗料及び工具の取り寄せ等の輸送のお手伝いもいたしました。
